Spreadsheet Exercises The first spreadsheet investigates the three different solutions relating to the cell phone problem in the ICT4U Middle School Spreadsheets Book. The problem states that: Juan and Sylvia each have a cell phone. They were comparing costs to see who has the better deal. Juan’s company charges 20c for making a call and then charges 60 c for each minute of the call. Sylvia’s company charges 30c perminute but charges 80c to make the call. All call charges are for 1 minute minimum. How many minutes can they talk on the phone so that their charges are equal? This is answered in solution 1. The other 2 solutions explore other options. After completing the ICT4U Middle School Spreadsheet book student will be able to write their own spreadsheet investigations.
